Hand tapering

So this afternoon I decided I would try a few different ways of taking the lip off a ferulle and matching it with the shaft. Then I figured it was a good idea to practice tapering by hand. I did pretty good. I turned a 13mm shaft into something considerably smaller.
It takes a steady hand, a good eye and lots of practise. Good thing I was using a broken shaft eh.
