I am organizing yet another 14.1 league this winter at Miller Time Billiards in Davenport, Iowa. Our 4th season will be kicked off with a January 4, 2010 player's meeting at 7:00pm. Schedule will be posted that week, with play beginning the week of the 11th.
Unless otherwise stated, we follow the World Standardized Rules.
We handicap the matches so anyone, no matter their skill level, can compete on a fair playing field. When lower-ranked players compete, we make the races shorter (as low as 75 balls). When higher-ranked players compete, we make the races longer (as many as 150 balls).
On top of that, it's a flexible schedule league meaning you call your opponent for the week and establish a time to play that works for both of you. This is a big selling point to my league.
Cash awards & trophies for high-runs (we track overall high-runs and high-runs based on handicap too) and top finishing positions. We also try to pay cash awards to everyone that plays.

Don't miss out if you are in Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois. The leasue is expanding every season (about 60% more players each season). The players are having so much fun & learning so much that they are returning to play every season & bringing their friends with them.
