Jackson just emailed me with my final balance for the cue that has been on order for over 1 1/2 years. He stated that he was retiring. Now I don't know if it is just him or the whole operation. I thought I'd send a note out for those who were thinking about selling their Viattorre cue. I will show pics as soon as I have mine in my hands. ARM

I kept putting off ordering mine for the past two years and was finally going to go through with it this summer. My friend put in one of the last (if not THE last) orders a while back and told me that he's no longer taking orders. As soon as I heard that, I tried a few weeks later to see if he'd remember me (from our older e-mails to each other) and allow me to put in an order too, but told me that they can't and he's looking to retire.

Luckily, he had a finished cue that someone ordered hasn't responded for a long while since the cues completion. I offered to buy it, and after trying to contact the original buyer...he decided to let it go to me!

I just got it this morning...and it is beautiful! You won't be disappointed.

Well, here's the pics sent to me from Jackson. I actually haven't hit with the cue yet even though I've had it for 2 days now!!! I'm finishing up my last quarter in college this week and promised my girlfriend (she actually bought the cue for me as my graduation gift) that I wouldn't hit with it until after I finish (she actually bought the cue for me as my graduation gift).

sorry that the pics are a little jagged...first time posting pics on the forum. The orignial pictures from Jackson are much more clear, but are ~200KB large so I couldn't upload them directly to the site.

I originally wanted a plain jane, but since this was the last one he had available and wasn't taking any new orders...I was willing to take anything he could offer! I usually play w/ a wrapless so the cue feels slippery to me when I stroke with the wrap. I liked the inlays also since I am a chess fan and used to play when I was younger.

How's yours coming along?

Nice cue 32.. My cue is already finished. I am just awaiting delivery. I would describe it to you but I would rather show pics and let his work speak for itself.

Parks and Wildlife seized my first Viattorre

Jackson Tan was nice enough to send me another cue after Parks and Wildlife seized my first Viattorre cue, some 15 months after I ordered it. It is a nice cue with ebony and bloodwood. I am sorry to hear he is quitting the business. Truthfully, there are a number of cuemakers in the Philipines and I wonder how they all can support themselves. I like most of the cues, at lease they way they look, but dont know how they play. I dont think I am going to sell my Viattorre for about 25 years. Then I will be 85 and I might need the money the way food, insurance, and gasolene are going up!!

Ive had mine now about 2 years. It is one of the best looking cues Ive ever seen.I am not just saying that because its min but because its true.It also hits great.I go back to it as my main cue every time. Its amazing thatm he was able to make these cues by hand with no CNC.One day I will sell all my cues except that one will go to my son.It really is a work of art.
