Happy 4th of July Long weekend.

What is everyone doing for the holiday?

We are having a boat load of people over for BBQ and swimming ~ weather permitting!

I hope to make it up to Athens for Tommy's tournament. Other than that, just doing drills at the pool hall. Oh, the exciting life I lead :p

Happy 4th to you too! We are going to the Cubs game tomorrow (bleacher seats). Then we are driving to Mayberry. Thanks for the invite. I am sure Zane would rather be at your place playing pool instead of going near Tom Sawyer's home! Luckily, we have to come back early on Tuesday 'cause he has to get back for work. I will make the long haul to your place sometime during the week.

Wishing everybody at AzBilliards a Happy 4th of July!

I welcome the 3-day weekend. I should have bought a grill at the end of last summer -- mine is spent -- and I didn't. So today I am going out to purchase a grill, already put together. I will NEVER make the mistake of bringing one home and having to spend 5 and 6 hours putting the pieces together.

We are going to have a poker game with friends and a cook-out on the deck. Michael Buble is performing at Wolftrap on Sunday in Virginia. I had never heard of the guy, but Keith is a big fan of Buble -- pronounced boo-ba-lee. If there are any good seats left, I'm buying two tickets and we're going.

Here in D.C., we've got the BEST fireworks extravaganza in the world, and so we may take the subway downtown and find a place on the Mall to enjoy the festivities. There is nothing better than the 4th of July in the Nation's Capital.

Well, the Cubs lost on July 2nd, but atleast I got 2 baseballs in the bleachers! 2 of the pitchers who were shagging the baseballs during batting practice tossed them to me! We had a great time and got way too much sun. Mayberry was kind of fun. I was very impressed with the size of their fireworks. We also got to tour a Cave in Hannibal, MO (The Mark Twain Cave which is where Jesse James allegedly hid out). There wasn't much else to do their other than play the silly carnival games. We had some luck and won 3 fish for his younger sister.

Happy belated 4th to everyone and hope to see ya'll in Orlando.
