Yep, just think -- we could've been part of an ever-shrinking empire, that, ever since WWII, hasn't done much of anything to help or advance the human species beyond the notion of a caste-based society.

Caste, not castle, my upwardly-pointing-olfactory-organed friend. You know, where one thinks he is "above" others merely by blood or name?
And on the "not done much" thing, surely, you're slathering the marketing spin on the fact that our involvement in at least one particular war was to prevent you from having to speak German today, right? (It takes a lot of those "here, let me help prop you up" reciprocating courtesies to equal just one of those "hey, if we'd not done this, you wouldn't exist as you know yourselves today" culture-saving events.) :thumbup2:

You are correct in your assertion that all British people are all better than everyone else. It is why everyone wants to come live here.
The proof of course is in cue sports, the main thrust of this forum, where we absolutely spank the pants off you colonials in all forms of cue sports.
As to the second world war (which, coincidentally took place before the period "after the second world war") - I don't recall you taking part in that matter for over two years until you got dragged in by the Japanese. But thanks, it was quite handy, though the German's were well on their way out by then. Sort of like, you are in a fight with a guy and your scaredy cat mate dives in half way through only once he has seen your opponent is beaten and only because he just found out the other guy was sleeping with his ex.
