I saw Ted at Tommy Kennedy's tournament in Miami. There has been a fair amt of Ted bashing here, most of it revolving around Ted not being available and not delivering a cue as promised. What people should know is that Ted's shop and his home was affected by Hurricane Wilma. He lost power for over two weeks and since he had Vonage for his phone, no power= no phone and no internet. Ted doesnt own a cell phone, or at least I sure havent seen him with one. I asked him for his cell number about 4 months ago and at that time he said he didnt have one and that he was going to get one since he had just moved his shop from Maryland.

From what Ted told me, he really was in bad shape after the storm and he even took a temporary job as a FEMA adjuster since his cue shop was dead in the water due to the storm.

Anyways, Happy Birthday Ted.

Happy B-Day Ted

Just wanted to thank you again for the cue you made for me (used in the new Blue Book of cues and April 2004 Billiards Digest). For all those worried about not getting their cue from Ted, he's good for it. I had to wait too - longer than expected - but the cue is worth the wait.

Friend has one of Ted's Plan Janes in Cocobolo. it is a awesome beautiful piece of wood, and a cue that hits real nice.
