Yes, especially when this thread was started with the request to post something positive about the IPT, and she did JUST THAT.........
 
I think Robin meant that she had received a check each time that she had one coming and that those checks paid. Also she is not quite ready to completely write off the IPT just yet, but if it is over, well, she made some nice improvements to her home with the proceeds. So there you have it..

I was in the players meeting, KT said everyone was paid that is why everyone was there. Since NO ONE said otherwise I have to assume everyone had been paid.
I am just learning how to post here I thought I lost this one, thus the bottom one.

In the last Players Meeting, KT talked about $$$$ he said everyone recieved their $$$$ that is why everyone was there to play. So to say some were not paid is the first I have heard. I haven't been around this board until now and so much has been flying around that is hear say only.
Had I not recieved my $$$$ I would not have continued to play, so again I will say until I hear otherwise from the players I will stick with what I have been told.

Robin,all that grisbe meant is that many people other than players have not been paid ie people due 10%'s etc. Hearsay it might be in some cases, but I know for sure that these people are not ALL just making it up.These people don't really have your player's option of voting with your feet and choosing "not to go" to any future event til paid. However unless they are brain dead they no doubt have already exercised their closest equivalent option of not at the moment throwing any more good money after bad,hence the qualifiers fiasco.:)

I can only bring to the board the facts I personally know about. I have been enjoying my kitchen, I know nothing more.
I only posted here because the thread said upbeat about the IPT, so I posted.
I seen many 10% checks handed out, KT also said there are cracks.....but they are being worked out. Not sure if that is a crack or not, I am still believing the best thing for our sport is to continue to support a tour that can provide a great living for many young up and coming players for many years to come. I refuse to give up on that, I am hoping the cracks will continue to get filled.

1) The decission to go with 8 ball and round robin
2) The chosen equipment (apart from the cloth and ball design!)
3) The website is excellent
4) The field is getting better
5) The venues and setup looked stunning
6) The prize money obviously (if distributed a little better)

Robin, I think you must be referring to the Vegas player's meeting. After Reno, according to a massive number of posts including from several IPT players, few if any pros have been paid. I think that is what all the furor is about.

IPT officials are known to monitor this forum and so far, I have not seen any denials of non-payment for the Reno event.

You, of course, played at Reno. Have you been paid? None of my business but payment is what this sub-thread is about so you could shed some light on a first hand basis.

This thread was to speak positive about the IPT.
It took a few weeks to get my check from Vegas, I chose to have it mailed. I never thought twice about the wait, I really forgot about it. I would be the same way right now, but since I have been here.......man you all are worked up big time. I still believe my check is coming. The IPT never contacted me to tell me when my check was coming before...........I never expected them to call me this time either.
I will just open the mail and it will be there that is still my choice to believe.
