I know there aren't a whole lot of mothers on az but there are some and def many moms around us and in our lives.

None of us would be here without one. ;)

So, to all the moms out there, thanks for all you do . . .

And hope you have a wonderful and very happy Mothers Day. :cool:

I used ti go to a garage that my company did business with....70s....so no cell phones.
.....the owner, Tack, had a dial phone on the wall.
Every time I was there, I would ask to use the phone to call the office.
'bout my third visit, Tack asked me "Was your mother educated?"
....told him "No, but she was an RN and pretty religious."

He said "You're the only customer who asks me to use the phone, every else just phones."
...."Your mother was a good woman."

I still do many things that she taught me when I was a child........

My momma is the strongest person I have been around. I have seen her bend a few times but never break. She is about to turn 82. She still drives, goes shopping, keeps up with her and my dads pills and all their own records. Between the two of us we have been taking care of my dad at home who suffers from vascular dementia after having a minor stroke in 2009. We have also been doing this with very little outside help because one brother lives out of state and my other brother and sister both work full time and would help more but really aren't available to do much if anything.....except give advice in my sisters case:angry: Our goal is to keep my pops at home as long as possible before he needs memory care. Even in the best places they can't look after him as closely as we can.
