Stay or leave it makes no difference to me, but for the record I never emailed Bob about you. If someone else did, they were doing him a huge favor, imo.

Your reputation here and with Bob is well deserved.

You guys are having a tool conversation without inviting me? I'm hurt Roger!
As soon as a release date is set in stone, I know a little record store that'll be getting a visit from me one month in advance. I bought lateralus there about three weeks before its release date! :D

I'm going with you to this little record store in April. If they don't have it 3 weeks before the release date I'll never speak to you again.

no Matt, I'll have to cause as soon as my tips wear down, I'll have no-one to replace them and he is the only cuemaker in my area that has any idea what he's doing. I can't play with no tip...can I??
In my own opinion, anybody that loves the game enough to invest the time and money involved in playing with a custom level cue, and playing at a higher level, should be able to, or at least willing to learn to change their own tips.
I know that I might be stepping on several peoples fingers with this opinion, but any player that takes the game seriously enough to consider themselves worth beans as far as ability, should learn to change their own tips. Sure, if you have a guy readily available and that does good work, have them done by the pro, but having to consider giving up the game because you're losing a tip man? Almost as bad as avoiding a friends wedding because you can't tie your own neck tie.

" Ane Another One Bites The Dust "

I will ask you to stay Duke. I don't think the cue looks to bad. Don't let em bother ya man.

I have to agree with To-Da... You gotta be able to replace tips on your own cues! It is not rocket science for chrissakes! Order a re-tipping kit from Mueller, get a good razor-blade knife and learn how to do it.

I must say I hated the cue with the green on it. Whoa! Just say "No!" to any green on cues. I bet the craftsmanship was flawless... but the design was too... much.

Send it to Scott Sherbine. WOW!

I'm a tad confused....

Are you saying that the people here trashed you & that you're upset that they won't make it right?

-or-

Are you saying that you trashed DZ and you're trying to make it right but that the people on the forum here will not allow it?

If you trashed someone on here, esp a cuemaker, it's highly probable that they saw it themselves and that no one needed to call them & tell them the things you said. There are a TON of people in the industry that lurk here but don't post. If you did in fact say something bad about him on here, how can you blame the people here for the issues that he has with you?

I'm not trying to rag on you, I'm just trying to understand because right now you're posts aren't making a whole lot of sense to me.

But call around and find someone you feel comfortable with. Good luck.
And if you do end up having a problem with them...keep it between you & that person, don't bring it on here. ;)

Tims,

I think, if I understand him, that he started a thread or post that was a little critical and then other AZers, according to him, jumped on the bandwagon with both feet. He thinks that many of the posters here went a little overboard in their criticism and it's causing him some problems. At least this is what I think he's trying to say.

My opinion is that he admits to starting it so he's the one that's responsible for cleaning it up. He shouldn't be asking others to do his dirty work.
