I taped the one with you and Karen. You sure have a nice break! I think you ought to have a little instructional forum here in Barrettaville. I know I could pick up a thing or two from ya...

Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! The hubby took me to a local place called Francisco's for some V-day lobster (my fave).

Funny you should mention my break....please write me again after you see the Julie Kelly match...

Hi Jenn,

Don't tell me your breaks weren't working in your game with Julie! I haven't seen it yet, but that's the inference I got from your last post... What's the deal? When you played Karen, the people I was watching the match with were calling you "The Good Looking Johnny Archer". It sounds like just an isolated incident to me as you have some of the best breaking style I have ever seen. I wish I had your break (then I would at least have one good facet in my game!).

No matter what happened on one occasion, I still think you should share some of your knowledge of the game with us. Whatever you're doing, you've gone a lot farther and a lot faster than I've done in forty plus years!

It's not that my breaks weren't working...I broke and ran quite a few racks in that match, and so did Julie. It's just that at 6-5 in Julie's favor I jumped up on the break and almost missed hitting the cueball which basically (along with a couple of rolls in Julie's favor) cost me the match. You really have to see it to believe it. I'd say it was probably my most boneheaded moment in pool, but after seeing it on TV (over and over again) I might never jump up on my break....EVER AGAIN! Or at least let's hope so.

Man would I like to see you play Jenn! Here in Canada (the Ottawa, Ontario region anyway) have yet to see you play on TV… The only chance I may have to see you in action is to be present at the year-end BCA tournament in Vegas this coming May. If I ever make it there, do you promise to sign me an autographed picture of you so I could hang it on the wall of my favourite Billiard room…. Pretty please Jenn, could ya could ya… LOL LOL

Flubbing the break is something I think we've all done. Nice to know Earl did it, too. I doubt I'm going to Reno...it's far and I probably wouldn't be able to play anyway. I'll be in Vegas for sure, though.
