I haven't heard when the Texas Open is. If it is, I didn't intentionally schedule it for the same weekend, but, if so, the damage is done and I'll just have to hope for the best. The big difference in our tournament and the Texas Open is that we don't allow anyone on a pro list to play, therefore, some really excellent players will have a better chance at some good money at our tournament.

No pros will be at the Texas Open either because of the IPT conflict, plus the Texas Open is $4000 added.
The Texas Open has been scheduled the same weekend for 17 years.

HART06 Dates

Thank you for the input ironman & Bigtruck. I guess there's not a lot I can do about it now, but, I won't let it discourage me. I believe in the HART Tour and I know that I will make mistakes, but, I intend to just live with the mistakes, and, hopefully, learn from them. In any case, we will go forward with our Labor Day Classic tournament, we will add the $1000.00 as promised. I can only hope that players (especially the local ones) see the benefit of participating in our tournament, and, for the ones who choose to go to the Texas Open, I wish them the best of luck. This is not the last HART tournament that we will have this year.
