A friend let me use his once, it is an amazing product. Too bay it is not for sale where I live. Mueller, and Seyberts where I by all of my Pool Stuff doesn't carry it.
If it didn't before, Seyberts does carry it now. I got mine from there.

Cheapskate ...

I guess I am. After checking Pooldawg's prices for it, which
would be $27 for cleaner and conditioner (reduced prices) plus
shipping which will bring it to $30 or more, I think it is too
much money for the pupose when I know of other ways to
get the same thing for a LOT less money. I have tried 3-5
other products previously, and some of them were overpriced,
and did not do that good of a job when I can use carefully
selected household products to do the same thing, and they
come in ounces, not grams, and last for months and months.

I don't know - I use Orange, a Kroger product, biodegradable
and natural for cleaning, and just simply use Pledge furniture
polish, and it seems to do just fine. I clean and polish before
every tournament I play, or about every 2 weeks otherwise.

I am not saying that Slipstic isn't a really good product, I just
won't spend $30 to find out.

We learn to improve overtime. It has been both ours and customers experiences that when applying it your fingers it works much better than with the applicator.

We also found that for ultimate performance apply it with your fingers and leave as is over night (do not wipe it). The next day very lightly buff for 2 seconds and the results are superb. Not only does the product perform even better, but it lasts much longer. With this experience behind us, we will be offering a smaller package in 2006 for under $10 which should last for a minimum of 6 months.

So yes, we have learned quite a bit from customer feedback and we will continue to do our best. Thank you.

shaft conditioner.

This sounds like a great product. I use cue silk right now, with no complaints I might add. But I'm always interested in trying something new. How does a person get a hold of this stuff in Canada?

Slip-Stic...

I purchased it early on...and actually received great deals and incentives from Pete...he even called to ensure i received my initial shipment...it works great, I have had nothing but a good experience both with the product and Pete...as for application, this is what I have found that works for me:

I place several drops, (4-5), down the length of the shaft, (in the 'Blue Stroke Zone')

Use the applicator from the kit to spread evenly, all the way to the joint collar, (wrap the applicator comletely around the shaft, rotate shaft while going up & down length), let stand to dry, buff with cotton cloth...Done!

I have applied 2x since my purchase in May...

Thanks Pete for a very useful product and attention to customer satisfaction and service...

Here let me get you a wipe for your nose VonRhett....

No one was bashing pete(wasnt even mentioned until he responded), nor even the product. A customer was giving feedback, which he is entitled to do after buying and trying the product....

Of course, I'm a newbie too so perhaps this forum is one of those places where bad feedback is bashed while anonymous random good feedback is welcomed, and the forum regulars are somehow above all reproach...

Perhaps thats the case as I'm just a newbie and dont know the ways, but really did this thread require you to jump in and "defend" pete or the product?

You are correct that we should be able to air what disturbs us. On the other hand as a vendor it would be nice if I were contacted to correct a problem if there were one. I alway enjoy speaking with everyone by phone and by email, but this one stuns me.

It bothers me that I was never given a chance to respond in any way. Not everyone likes every product, that's OK and I understand that. This thread came out of the blue from a 1st time poster and at about the same time I received an email from my web site filled with vulgar words. The return email was also a vulgar word. This email came from someone who is angry but gave no contact info.

Anyway, just left in the dark here I guess. I hope they contact me.
