has anyone made a professional valley barbox?

i was thinking of getting a valley barbox and putting decent cushions on and making the corner pockets pretty snug and throwing some decent cloth on there as well.

with a valley barbox i could put it on the first floor of my barn where the cement floor is and not worry about the (very little) water that comes in during the spring since it has metal feet, as opposed to where i have my current 8 ft table up stairs of my barn and it never stays level, on the old wood floor.

any pics or advice for something like this?

Define "Professional" Valley please, as your thread is more about where you'd like to place your table...than the title of your thread...as I see it.

instead of a slow playing bad banking wide open pocket valley barbox i would like a tight fast barbox with decent cusions. if i had the money and a decent space i would get a diamond but i dont so i was just tossing ideas around.

thanks RKC didnt think id get a reply to this post as a good valley barbox is kind of a oxy-moron lol

Get a hold of Kerry, get you some ridgeback rails, you'll be suprised:grin:

do they come a little long or should i buy some 8ft cushions and cut them down so i can make it a tougher table to play on?

you talking about ken at billiards plus???

if not can you send me the contact info.

You can't cut down 8ft rails to fit them on a 7ft, won't work.

Go to ridgebackrails.com and contact kerry, tell him what you want to do.
