There was a thread regarding a missing stick and how Richard wasn't returning calls. This concerns me. When I try to find the thread "X breaker?? What happened?" it can't be found under the search. I know that is the title of it because I got good rep from that post and it lists it under that name.

Wondering why that thread was deleted if it was.

Does anyone know if He's still making the sticks?
 
He's supposed to be holed up making his own cues totally alone, but I'm worried too. He has a very healthy deposit from me and is not answering my emails. But in fairness, he wasn't answering when I wanted to place an order either.

Recently, at a tournament, a player that I know to be an honest person told me that Richard took her fairly new cue, which had warped, ostensibly to fix or replace it. She has been unable to reach him since, and that was in January. I've heard other rumors that are even worse that I hope are not true. I fear for my deposit too. So many people sang his praises here, and those of his cues, that I ordered with confidence, and sent $260 IIRC. I hope that whatever problems that he's having will be sorted out...Tom
 
I think he's just busy lately. Last time I e-mailed him about my order (May 8), he said it should be ready in 30-45 days. I figure that's about now, so maybe he's busy finishing up a batch and getting them ready for shipping.
 
I did a transaction with Richard around May 21, the transaction went smooth. The amount of the transaction was substantial at least in MHO. I never did talk to Richard, all communication was done through e mail ( he emailed me about 6 times) at his insistance. Even though I called several times and he never answered his phone. Richard said in a email that he was very busy with installing a spray booth. I realize this is my 3rd post,and to some I havent been on the forum long enough to express my opinions on some issues. I do know this on my transaction with Richard , He did everything he promised, delivered the cue on time. I did report in the transaction sticky about Richard. My feelings of Richard is he's very busy, and I would do business with again! But then again I believed there was weapons of mass destruction. Charlie D
 
I pray to God that it turns out okay. I would be more bummed about not having that stick than anything.

That would make me feel better but his last post was May 25th. After you got your stick.

I have emailed Richard 3 times in the last 60 days, to buy some Break Cues for my booth. I used 2 of his cues at Valley Forge, 2006, for demonstrators. They were well received. I also use the Predator, the SledgeHammer, Auerbachs Cues & Pechauers, which are all well liked too.

Richard has never replied to my emails & has never called me.
 
I have done business with Richard in the past with no problems, both buying and selling. I emailed him recently about something and have not got an answer. I am wondering if there is a problem with his email as he has always been very good at responding. Has anyone PMed him? Could be that his computer or internet is down.
 
He's not a friend of mine.....but honestly, before we start the witch hunt lets relax for a moment. Its easy to get behind a bit & just want to halt worldly contact and try to catch up. Even consider he is human and may have other issues that need his attention at this moment. I'm sure the man is not looking to escape with a few deposits.;)
 
The last

email I had from him, he mentioned he had 68 cues on order. I imagine
he is trying to get those orders taken care of.
 
I know it wouldn't make sense for him to throw away his business that seems to be flourishing. I'm more concerned about his health or well-being.
