Has Oscar Dominguez lost his mind?

Oscar doesn't play with that skinny a shaft anymore though it still is thinner than most (around 11-1.5). His dad still plays with a very thin shaft though.

Ernesto's shafts were probably the first LD shafts out there. :grin-square:
 
oscar's shaft tip mm sizes are tiny..

when I checked it out awhile back when he was in town i was SHOCKED!! I mean I play with 11mm shafts but WOW. Yeah Oscar last I heard from Eddie Prewitt, he fitted Oscars current Prewitt with predator z shafts.
 
Snooker players use shafts that are 9-9.5mm at the tip. I still see a lot of players locally using their snooker cues to play pool. Don't knock it until you try it.
 
I bought a snooker cue last year to practice with when I start getting unwanted spin or too much spin (hitting off center) with my regular cue. After about an hour with the snooker cue I start hitting the QB in the center again. This works for me I think because I played with a Viking with about an 11 mm shaft for about 15 years. I now use 12-12.5 shafts. Johnnyt
 
I wonder why does some people have to say another person is crazy just because they like to shoot with something different than you...
 
I guess folks that demean others have maternal instincts & they want to "mother you" into doing their wishes.

Aren't you glad that we all do the same thing different,,?
 
Oscar told me when he was little he played with his dad's cue to learn, which was 8-9mm. When he got his own cue, that was the only thing he knew and everything else felt too big.

It's all in what you get used to.
