Has the new break rules made a difference?

Just wondering. Has there been any match where the old rules would have meant a different winner? I'm guessing no.

Looks like the better players are still in the hunt. :D
But, most races have been tight.

This is just my .02, but I feel that the best well-rounded player(s) will usually win as long as the rules are fair.

As a spectator, I'm an advocate of alternate break because I feel that it fosters closer matches and I lose interest when matches look like they're going to be a blowout.

As a player, I'm so cocky that I feel like it doesn't matter whether if the winner breaks or not.

I agree!!!!

The break thing is over blown, Efren was considered a poor to average breaker and he beat all the big breakers in 9 and 10 Ball, so if you can play you can play.

A big break helps, means a lot, but is not going to determine the out come.
