Hello-

I did a search and came up on the dry end for replys as to the playability of a Samsara custom cue, and as I am currently researching for my first big cue purchase. So I ask those of you that have played with a Samsara, what you thought about it, feel wise, hit wise, any information you can give me in regards to your experience with them, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Simon

A couple of good players I know that own other nice cues swear by their Samsara's.
I've played with 4, and 3 played very good.
The Samsara jump/break cues are really nice.

I've played with a Samsara bar cue for the last 2 years. It plays very well. I have been told that the bar cue plays the same as most of their top dollar cues. Having said that, my cue is for sale only because I would like to get a "wrappless" cue and mine has a leather wrap. I know that this is not the "for sale" forum, however, you may wish to purchase a cheaper Samsara and play with it for awhile before you invest a lot of $ in a new cue. I have two shafts with mine and it's in great condition.

I can second that. And, also, the only reason I don't still have my BarCue is that I had a custom cue made for me. And, by the way, we copied the Samsara's shaft taper on that cue because I liked the Samsara profile so much...

I have a Samsara SP that I have played with for over 8 years now it is one of the best hitting cues I have played with. I have tried a couple of other custom and production cues throughout the years and I always come back to the Samsara. The only thing I don't like about mine is the quick release joint that is on there, it tends to loosen up once in a while. I have a Southwest coming in a couple of months if that doesn't play much bettor than my Samsara I will be selling that and staying with what I got.

I own one among my cues. It isn't my number one player, but it is a very playable cue. Nice stiff hit. The fact that it is nice and pretty is a plus.
That said, I'd suggest you find one somewhere and hit with it before buying one.

I have one with a radial pin. It is one of the best constructed, and finest playing cues I have ever hit with. My friend has an Ebony on Ebony Samsara with a radial pin and that thing is amazing. You will not be disappointd if you decide to buy one.

Samsara

i have two Samsaras. one dart handle jump cue. it is a great tool. my player is a radial pin Samsara. i had the cue made for me. Jim and Dave at Samsara were great to work with. the cue looks awesome and plays great. i was going to sell it to help fund the completion of my "room" in the basement. i am soooo....... glad i did not get it sold. i have decided that this will be my keeper. that was not a difficult for me to decide. with that being said i would recommend if you have access to other Samsaras you hit them to see if you like them. i believe you will. good luck with your search.

I've never seen one in person. I know I use a Samsara tip on my BK2 and its the best but that's for another thread:D

Yeah buddy. Samsara cues has great pride in their construction, workmanship, and playability...They are as good as it gets.

I was a Samsara player rep for several years. Their cues are excellent, both in design and construction, and I've sent many customers their way. I've been playing with my two custom Samsara cues for the past 10 years. One is a $4k custom and the other is a $1200 custom. They both play the same. Both have the large radial pin. You can't really describe the feel of the cue to someone else, because it is so subjective to the individual. I love the way mine play. The advice to find someone who has one, and play some with it is solid advice.
