It will help because sooner or later these cues or one of them may go up for sale on E-Bay. It seems like sooner or later, all things must pass through e-Bay. The cues will undoubtedly be recognized by someone here.

Do you still have some of the ring material? If so do a mock up of what the ring work looked liked and take a picture of it and post the pic. This will help if anyone sees a cue that looks like your description.
