I think you can get some mixed drinks..at least in the pit area....but the liquor selection is limited. I am pretty sure a friend of mine wasn't drinking Kool-Aid. ;)

Thanks Koop, luckily for your wallet, I'm not like most girls... LOL, we'll be fightin' over who is paying for the round. :D I'm just like that... I've always been a tomboy so I've always just been "one of the guys". Someone buys a round, I get a round... I'm stubborn like that.... LOL, I've got an idea... we can both buy a case of beer & flip a coin to see whose beer we drink... every beer we flip a coin (I always have heads BTW...it's all about me, remember?). The person that has the most left in their case at sunrise wins.... :D (case, sunrise... ok, maybe we should buy two cases each) :p

Do they let you bring your own in? I know at the Joss finale you had to which I actually liked. Couple of cases down at Wally-Mart and we were good to go.
I'll end up losing that one anyway because I'd be dipping into my own while I waited for you to finish :D

I know, what's up with the dogs?!?!?! EEK! Anyway, thanks Beetle. It is GREAT to know that I'm one click away from a bunch of friends! Too bad I can't get everyone in a group hug. :( I might be a tomboy but I have my "chick moments" and I do love my hugs!!! ;)

GAME ON for sure!!! No, we couldn't take our beer into the expo area... we would have to either A) act like kids & hide in the parking lot or B) go to one of the hotel rooms that we've paid a FORTUNE for & drink there.

I have some friends that are vendors & they had a tough time taking their cooler of SODA'S into the area... they paid for their booth & everything... I don't think they're going to let me bring my softsided shoulder cooler let alone the big hard sided igloo on wheels! :D

Well I ahd no problem what so ever...I even walked by on the daily with Burger King and Bennigins...... granted it was not beer...but it wasn't $6 suck ass pizza either.

I know they let food in.... I saw people with outback steakhouse take out... think i wasn't jonsing for a steak!?!?!?! Places get real funny when it comes to beer. Part of it is that they lose money & the other part is that they lose "control". A kid under 21 could be sneaking beer outta someone's cooler... beer is different than food. They MIGHT allow it but I could swear that they gave my friends (vendor's in a paid booth) a tough time about their cooler of soda's.

What is the name of the connecting hotel? I think I'm going to book now instead of last minute.

Yes, it's the recommended hotel... no driving involved... book now for sure & hope you get a room! I booked mine two weeks after last yrs. Last yr I had to bum off of friends on both Thur & Sat night... I wasn't going to sweat that again.... it's WELL worth the time to call the hotel & book it early. It's the Radisson... There's another one that's connected to the expo & is "closer" than the Radisson but I don't know the name of it.... sorry. They both can be reached from inside the expo center.
