Having a second/backup playing cue butt

I think what I carry around is ideal, while not being excessive.

Predator Blak 3x5 case with ...
Break Butt and Player Butt
Use the third "butt hole" :) for two extensions (4" and 8") and the 4" extension of my jump cue (OB Lift)
5 Shaft holes --- Main playing ld shaft. Exact same older backup playing shaft. Player's original non-ld shaft. Jump shaft. Break shaft.
And the jump butt in add on side pouch. (Old Bungee labeled one that works great for what it is)

I do have two nice, but not very expensive cues I used to play with in the rack at home.

I really was asking if anyone carries their back up or second favored cue butt in their case along with their main player, breaker and shafts...but I like where this has gone
I’d tell you that’s the silliest thing ever, but I’d also have to tell you that I’ve definitely done similar especially if I haven’t played in a while. I would bring my Gilbert jump/break cue and a couple of spare shafts, one being a low deflection shaft. If I ever got uncomfortable with my playing setup, I’d put a playing shaft on my Gilbert J/B to switch things up, just to get through the day.

I have a 4x4 case. I take my player, and my break cue. Then I have a spare cue that I carry as a "just in case". I have the space in the bag, it doesn't make it that much heavier.

And if I think enough ahead and I'm going to a room where I know there won't be many bridges around, I'll throw in an old cheapy starter cue to make a full time bridge for our team to use. (The shaft on my spare cue is turned down enough that my moosehead bridge won't stay on it. I don't like using a house cue for the bridge, it then tends to wander off on its own, people from neighboring tables. My old cheapy cue is black, so it doesn't look like the house stuff. Then at least my team, and my opponents, have one to use.)

I'm looking at getting an extension for my playing cue, so at that point either the spare cue or the cheapy that I use for a bridge will have to come out.
