..and are not afraid to experiment? Some might benefit from copying A.Hopkins style(hardly any backstroke on the final stroke). For about an hour now I haven't missed very many shots at all. His style won't work for everyone, but what the heck-if you're potting skills aren't what they should be-at least try it.

Hopkins is only able to finesse the CB, with his "poke stroke" technique, because he has an amazingly loose grip on the CB. Most people trying to imitate this technique are unable to, due to 'death-gripping' the cue. I would never try to teach someone this style of setup and delivery, as it is certainly not the simplest process to learn, nor the easiest to master. The pendulum swing is...simply...the most accurate and repeatable process out there.

Scot, I totally, totally agree that this is not the preferred method to teach or learn, but if someone has trouble consistently striking the c.b. in the middle, like me, this style possibly could help.
