Different cameras most likely, and the bandwidth available at the site. Need a nice chunk of upload speed to do this type of resolution smoothly.

This HD stream was only a test stream which ran for a couple of weeks... it was streaming a little weekly tournament. It is too expensive to run it every week at such a small tournament...

The guy who hosted it only wanted to test a stream in HD quality...
