He wen li?

Is he the same person as li he wen? I don't understand Chinese naming and I remember watching a youtube video of li he wen playing earl strickland and was curious if its the same guy in the us open.

It doesnt work that way.

With the Chinese, the Last name is first. In the case of Li He-Wen, "Li" is his last name and "He-Wen" is his first name.

To make his name westernized, it should be "He-Wen Li".

On another note, that guy is a beast. I would pick him as a dark horse, to win the Open.

Being a Chinese myself I have to say it's pretty annoying when our "last" names are reshuffled. The correct way to read or write Chinese name is always to have the last names first. Also we don't use the term "Last name", we call it Surname.
