So like the title states I'm heading to Califorina in Feburary and am looking for decent places in the Hard Times Billiards (bellflower) area to stay at. Any sugestions? Any places to avoid? Any help is appreciated.

Are you coming as a tourist? If so, you are better off staying somewhere else, renting a car, and driving to HT when you want to play pool. Bellflower is not exactly the most tourist friendly area in the world and Southern California sucks if you don't have a car.
 
Big tourney at Hard Times Bellflower Feb 4-5. Swanee field is 192 players and all the best from here will be there.

Call Hard Times for a hotel, they have a deal with one but I can't remember which.
 
There is A hotel called ayres about 10 min up the freeway that's real nice, and fair priced. Much better area too. I live 2 min from ht pm me if you have questions.
