Heading to Missoula MT, where to play?

I'm going to put a vote in for Al's and Vic's Bar. I've never actually been there, but my wife use to bartend there and has told me numerous stories about the pool players there. This is from a while ago, but at the time this was a hangout for some very good players.

It depends on what you are looking for, of course. I like to shoot at the University Center Gameroom. They have 15 9-foot GC IVs. I doubt you'll find any action there, but some of the kids who work the desk may be able to put you in touch with some players.
Palace Billiards is worth checking out. I'm not sure what the state of that place is these days. It used to be THE place to be.
As for the Bars, Al and Vic's is fun, but there will be a lot of players around the tables if it is busy. Deperado isn't bad and serves some good chow. Same for Flippers and Boomers. I also like the Silver Dollar. There are a few more ... PM me if you have questions.

Al's has two tables and no players.... Empty.

Palace Billiards has gone out of business....

OMG, just want to play a little pool.

:-(
