headstock for taig

does taig or anybody else make a headstock that with a 1 3/8 spindle bore that will accept a cue and will fit the taig dovetail? I'm sure I've seen them on other cue lathes based on the taig but have not been able to find them over 3/4.

Taig doesn't make a headstock that large that is for sale. You could get one from a couple of different sources now. I would suggest Chris Hightower the originator of this headstock wich is made for Chris by Taig I believe.

I thought we were leaving the bs and badmouthing out of these posts?
we sold and crated and shipped 4 lathes and 2 headstocks last week with no issues and do all the major shows, we are at the derby til next week if your close stop by and see us

I don't think they were directing that comment towards you. If so, then all I can say is you answer your phone even on weekends. I know, I got a hold of you on a Saturday and Sunday. Frankley, both you and Chris make a good product. I don't know what all the irony is all about but no matter.
