Headstock

I am looking for a headstock setup like the one on this mini lathe. http://www.taigtools.com/mlathe.html

The thing is I need it to have a spindle bore of more like .760 or something close. I have not been able to find any with more than a bore of .343.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

contact Chris at Cue Man Billard products, he has them made for him, I would not doubt he would sell you what you need, and he is very knowledgeable to boot!

Thanks to this list I've been noticing stuff at littlemachineshop (thanks again Steve). They sell parts for mini lathes, and perhaps this is what you are after :

I would guess that the spindle in this headstock is this one :

The associated drawing says the bore is 20mm (0.787") through, with a 3MT taper.

More good advise from the North,

IIUC - the Taig spindle is too small to bore out to 3/4 - the
standard thru hole is only 3/8 - Chris' 5/8 is pushing
the limit
