Must agree, congrats, Kid. AND, don't think you can get away without "Upping" all the gory details.

Congratulations CK! Didn't someone on this board say that the posters here couldn't shoot a lick? Not trying to start anything just being proud of one of our own! Way to go!!

Wow congratulations CK! It seems like alot of people here have been shooting good the last few months judging by the results, way to go!

Same here - congratulations -

and I have heard from a lot of old friends who have started/and have been posting on AZ board and believe me they CAN PLAY, DID PLAY, STILL PLAY with the big names out there because they are "the- hard -core- will -play -till -they -die -players" you hear about at the tournaments. And go back for more 'cause they love the game and are pretty darn good.

Hi Folks,

I'm simply embarrassed! Thanks for the kudos. The only thing I'm really proud of is beating a couple of great young players. I guess there is some life left in this old body yet! The CNY Tour is supported by the great folks at McDermott Cues, Inside Pool Magazine and nine great pool rooms. Mike Renshaw is the Tour Director. Most of Upstate New York's better players attend on a regular basis. Honestly, I'd be more excited if this was a Joss event but hey, a win is a win. The on-line report was incorrect in one detail. This was my second win on tour. Last years win came on my 59th birthday! This one was a couple of weeks early.

Classic Billiards and the east side room (formerly Ridge Billiards) has gone through some tough times this year. It was gratifying to see some players travel two hundred miles to play. My embarrassment comes from being the "driving force" behind the tour travelling to Rochester for this event. Most events are in the Syracuse area and east. If you are a NY State resident, live in the "central" part of the state and wish to participate, please contact Mike at 315 672 5531. A website should be up and running this week. Thanks to all for the kind comments. My cheeks are red!!! :o
