My pool room is in the basement, the humidity is kept between 35-45% with a Dehumidifier. The Table still plays wet.

I am looking for suggestions on how to heat the bed of the table.

Thanks,

there is a low volt electric wire system designed for flooring.it can be put under wood flooring ..i don't see why this wouldn't work..35 to 45 % humidity is fairly dry.i am wondering if a faster cloth would be better for you..

Funny you mention the heat cable. I am reading about it now at www.warmyourfloor.com

The Table is covered in 860 Simonis. I am a student of straight pool, and the rack is just not breaking out right. The balls are clean and so is the table, it just still plays wet.

Thanks for the reply Joey.

that 3x8 ft.cable sounds good..let us know what you do..i have seen this question asked recently

When asked what was the difference between 860 and 760 Simonis...read my reply.

And, if you really insist on heating the bed of your table, go get yourself an electric blanket from Walmart, it has a temp control with it, stuff it up under the slate of the table, secure it in place, then turn it on about an hour before you want to play pool
