Heavy Predator 314-2 shaft.

Just got brand new piloted 5/16-14 Predator 314-2, i weighed it as i thought it was little heavy and it was 4.34oz!

It's going on a White which is 15oz i can't try out if i like it or not till i get the White next week.

It's going to cost alot for me to send it back to Seyberts (from U.K)and if i chalk it i can't send it back.

I used to play with a 15oz butt with a 3.7 shaft. The "usual" weight of a Predator 314-2 is about 3.5-3.8oz.

Has anyone else ever had a heavy Predator shaft before? Does anyone think it could affect my game at all?
 
i like heavy shafts myself as i like my cues more forward balanced. it will change the balance on your cue. if the cue has an adjustable weight bolt, you can add some more weight to it to keep the same balance
 
Thanks for the replys.

I will keep the shaft and see what it plays like..its quite dark wood aswell and i've read that can make a better shaft.
