heights for tables and lights

Hi,

im installing my new italian pooltable light. it is AMAZINGLY nice and the setup is easy and welthought. no plugs and heavy drilling machinery is needed to install it to the seiling. just took me some time to figure out how to install it as it didnt come with any manual. Anyway,

the standard playingfield height should be around 30'
and the standard distance to the playingfield is around 50'

is this right or close too?

i dont have the table yet, but i want to install the light before i install the table (as it still needs some finishing varnish etc)

The very bottom of the light should be even with your eyes if you are a average hieght person , that always works good.

its non fluorecent and its not bulbs

ill put it up at eye height and keep 10cm playing room with the wires.

I've read in several different places that the bottom of the light should be 31" from the felt.

finally got it all installed !!!

WOHOO im VERY happy, the modern and clean look is exactly as i wanted it, and the black matches my table and interior colour, without the light looking like a pooltable hanging from a ceiling. its almost floating

it is installed to be at 40' instead of 32' above the slate. reason is, that the light is bright enough to not even notice the heightdifference (u can see the floor is perfectly iluminated) and i can stand at the end ready to break without being able to hit it with my head when i 'jump' up

i greatly advice this lightning to everyone. its cheap (got a special price of 275€ for it, where it normally is 450€), very nice looking, greath ilumination, u can even chose a bigger version of 2.80+- m long, i took the 2.47m long, and easy to install.
