I don't know if i should welcome me or the other way around i'm so confused
 
I'm a newbie, too, getting back into pool after a 30+ year layoff. I too have a passion for the game, learning its nuances, and improving my skill, but more than anything else, I just enjoy it. That's what I play for: that enjoyment and satisfaction, even if it's just knocking in a couple balls while supper's cooking. Heck, sometimes I just step over to the table and shoot a couple of 10 inch straight-ins, just to hear the balls click into the pocket.
