Hello Everyone

I have been reading on these forums for a while now, but only recently decided to join. From my time lurking on here, I have noticed that the difference between azb and most other forums is night and day; Everyone on azb seem to get along well and remain respectful of each other, which is something I find rare on the net anymore.

I will try and introduce myself without turning this post
into a novel - I started to really get into playing sometime around the middle of last year, so I've not actually been playing for very long. I got started at a fairly nice place called Shooters, in Jonesboro, AR. They used Olhausen tables exclusively, which is part of the reason why Olhausen will soon grace my living room.

As of now I have not been in any leagues or tournaments, but that is a future goal of mine now that I have relocated to AZ. First things first, I have to get my new table and then find all of the pool rooms in the area and get in some good practice. I see it as a step in the right direction to make some new friends while also playing a sport that I have grown to like quite a bit. Anyway, I don't want to ramble on forever so I will leave it at that for now.

Welcome, you've really got the bug if you're putting the table in your living room, enjoy!

Given the user name maybe you can help with that age old question....

If a monkey with a gun blasted out bullets on the shooting range for 24 hours a day for an infinite amount of time would he eventually hit as many consecutive bulls eyes as William Shakespeare wrote words ?

I think it goes something like that anyway :p:smile:

I can tell you that you will love having your own table in your house. I have an 8 foot Olhausen in my living room right now and I am really happy with it. I just wish my living room was about 3 or 4 feet wider! :)
 
Welcome to the forum. I wish I was back at the age, thirteen, I was playing for seven months. Never mind, I'd still screw it up. Good luck with the new table.

What other forums do you nornally hang out on? I like to disagree with people so they sound interesting.

I used to live about an hour from Memphis, but now I'm a bit farther off than that.
