My name is Kellie and I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting my husband, Rude Dog, in the U.S. Open. He is very nervous about going through with this but it's all he ever talks about. I've never watched him play, except for when he plays at the local bar and he says that's not how he really plays. I've sat and listened to him for hours how important this is that he does well in this tournament. He really wants to make a name for himself and get back into pool again. He is so hard on himself even when he does good. Thank you again and we both enjoy this forum very much.

Nice to meet ya Kellie and welcome to the forum. I have heard a lot about you from John. It's great that John has someone to listen. My wife doesn't listen and I am always right. LOL. We all hope John does well and enjoys himself. Maybe next time you can go too.

Kellie...going to something as huge as the U.S. Open for the first time is enough to make anyone a nervous wreck. It's a wonder he can even sleep more than a few hours every night. (Maybe he's not) But hey, I know he wants to do well and it's important to HIM as far as proving himself worthy to everyone on AZ, you and himself, but it doesn't matter. He doesn't need to prove his self worth through this pool tournament. He already has in more ways than one and he's a good man and a good human being and I think we all sensed that before he was even chosen, which contributed to that decision. The best to you and your health, and whatever happens at the tournament...happens...and it's great, regardless of the outcome. Both of you can take pride that he's there and participating in a great event and have a lasting memory.

I couldn't have said it any better drivemaker. You do have a way with words when you are being sincere. Thanks

One of your very best posts Drivermaker! I can't say anything to improve on that and believe me, that's rare!

RD, don't put pressure on yourself, just have fun. Kelly, thank you for posting, it's great to hear from you. I could tell that your husband really cares for you and now we know that you feel the same about him. You are so fortunate to have that kind of relationship. Congratulations! I hope everything works out just fine for the both of you.

Hi Kellie,

I wish the very best to John, you and the family.

I'm sure he will do his best at the Open. And I' pretty sure that as much as he talks about it now, he will talk about it even more when he gets back home. :p

Good luck John, have fun.

Welcome Kellie, no thank you's needed, we all wish him the very best of luck and no matter how he does in the open we are happy to have him represent us.

Jim

Kellie, John got voted in to represent our little family in the open. We all want him to play his best but, no matter what we'll all be proud to have him there. I know he's getting more nervous by the minute so just keep telling him to relax and have fun. We all wish you well with your health. Sam

I think everyone here is pulling for Rude Dog. I'm glad to see poolplayers helping out other poolplayers. Welcome aboard, hope you guys stay awhile.
