Welcome, I'm new myself but learning and having fun.

Tell little Joe I would be glad to tune up his game for him if he would come to Gadsden Alabama. I already tuned up Charlie Shootmans game!! Maybe he will know who this is.

Hello Aj, this is certainly a great place to share and again information. However, like every where this forum also has it's good and bad information. All I can say is that if something doesn't pass the common sense test, or it seems to good to be true there is most likely something wrong.

The forum membership looks out for each other, bad business practices are not left unanswered, and while we all try to stop these things from happening some do slip through the cracks.

So get out there and get involved, do not be afraid to post or to just ask questions there are many very knowledgeable people who post here, and in most cases solutions can be found for most educated questions.

I personally welcome you aboard, and if I can I will be glad to help you in the future.

Welcome to the forum although I am a little jealous of you. I'd like to spend some time with Joe both for lessons and because he is a great guy. We talk on the phone pretty often and I have his DVD's but that isn't the same as having him at the table with you. We are a long ways apart though and I haven't made it up there yet.

Craig(manwon) described the forums well. You'll meet a lot of great people and a few heels. You'll get a lot of great advice and some bad. Some of the sharpest guys in pool pool post here and a few sexual intellectuals that don't know nearly what they think they do. Up to you to sort it all out! :D

Welcome, very glad you are here.

I am relatively new (compared to most who post here), but here is my advice:

1. Ask anything you want, people are generally very helpful, but use the search feature to see if a topic has been discussed before. This will allow you to frame your question with better focus. (You can see from my early posts that I often did not search first. My error.)

2. Opinions can differ on various topics. Sometimes people get pretty excited. If you ever do get flamed by some juevenile post (it will happen if you are here long enough), remain polite. It shows class, and makes the forum a better place.
