Help/advice with a Palmer 2nd catalog model

My apologies, I meant to post this in the ask the cue maker forum but it somehow posted here instead. If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them, if not then please just ignore it. I can't seem to figure out how to copy and paste with my iPad so I will do it tomorrow and then try to delete this thread if it is a problem.

I am betting it is not a difficult repair but will entail refinishing the forearm.

Best to talk to a cue makers about this. I would recommend Ryan (ratcues) or Proficient ( Scott). Both are probably the first mentioned for such work in general.

Ratcues is on this forum. Damn nice work.


I wouldn't mess with it myself if I were you. Best to have a known, experienced, and reliable pro do it.

I don't think it's that big of a deal unless they run into unseen issues.

That's what I think anyway.
