Help choosing a beginner cue

Hey,

I'm new to this forum and was hoping I could get some opinions on which cue stick would be good for me as a beginner. I am debating on the two cue's below, I would be putting a Kamui Black Medium tip on whichever one I get... feedback would be much appreciated.

I would think they would both be fine especially after adding the Kamui (shameless plug, I'm a Kamui dealer). Have you played with both a implex joint and wood to wood joint? Whichever you prefer would make the decision for me. I personally always have liked hustler style cues and still have a old Dufferin in my case, as well as, a couple from the early 80's by custom builders that generally stay at home. You can always put a Samsara tip on either down the road and turn it into a break cue if you decide to get something different later.
