I need some help from some of you pro's. This cue has been in my family for over 50 years, it was purchased as a gift for my Grandfather by my Uncle in Chicago back in 1961 at Keefe and Hamer. For the last 5 decades we have all believed it was made by H.J. Rambow but I started collecting cues about 6 months ago and I recently noticed that it has a 5/16 x 18 pin joint screw, I have been under the impression that Rambow used 5/16 x 14 pin. I have attached a bunch of pictures of the cue and my questions are as follows- 1. did Rambow ever use a 5/16 x18 pin? 2. is this a Rambow? 3. if not what other prominent cue makers were using 5/16 x 18 pin in the late 50's/ early 1960's and any opinions as to who made this would be greatly appreciated. The cue's measurements are as follows- butt= 29.5" not including bumper, with bumper = 30' , shaft= 28.25" from tip to base of joint collar. you may notice the shaft is broken at the piloted joint, it also came with another shaft but was accidently thrown away by my Grandpa after the ferrule broke in the mid 70's

thanks in advance

It does not look like a Rambow to me. Some of the AO Schmitt cues look pretty similar. But to be honest I am clueless as to who could have made it.

Deno or Paul

I called Deno twice and sent 3emails and haven't received any response, who is Paul? And do you have his contact info?
Thank you
