HELP!!!!!![emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]

Took it to machinist but it would fit for her to sew it, so took Poolhall60561 & Allen Brown's advice & took it to a cobbler (shoe repair place) because they are better equipped (incidentally this is what the machinist said to do) & he said he couldn't do it because "it would break".

So it looks like Gorilla glue or duct tape are my last & only options but I do appreciate the replies guys.

i a surprised the cobbler couldnt do it
i had a similar issue with a tennis bag made of vynil and my shoe guy fixed it fine

To be honest I reckon he just couldn't be bothered because when I took a pair of ted baker leather shoes to him to be re-heeled & re-soled he used cheap rubber sole & cheap heel. I'm not surprised really but thought I'd give it a try.

You are probably correct. People don't do business like they used to. I guess they have the right to refuse anyone's business, but to me a dollar is a dollar.

If you are going to duct tape it do yourself a favor and get a roll of Gorilla brand duct tape, its way, way better than even the good conventional duct tape. It even comes in black to match your case.
