I took this cue in on a trade a few years ago, and have not been able to find any information on ELITE cues. Any AZ'rs help with ID.?

I am not sure exactly, but Dick Coons commissioned McDermott to make a line of cues for him that had traditional steel joints and 5/16-14 threads. Some of the higher end models had chess designs like the cue shown. I believe later on, he might have outsourced the designs overseas to get the cost down. They were both branded with the Elite logo.

Thanks guys, I got this with a special order Meucci 95-19 and am looking to clean out all my odd-ball cues. Think I might get $200.00 out of it?:(

As long as it has points and inlays, almost any cue will bring $100-$150 on Ebay.

I liked my old Elite cues.

LOL....whoops, wrong picture.

There may be more than one Elite cue but the ones I am thinking of had a scripted logo with a large E and were on the same price range and quality as Players. Meaning on the cheaper side but good quality for the price.

I don't see the picture at work if there was one with the question so it may be a different Elite cue.

You're right, the last few years did have the fancy scripted "E" on the forearm near the joint. CueStix Int'l. Co. still has them made for them in China and they good inexpensive production cues.

I bought an Elite cue out of the display case at Table Steaks back around '07.
If I were to buy another $100 production cue it definitely would not be an Elite.
My Elite cue looked good from afar, but it was about the worst cue I've ever owned from a quality standpoint.
I think it retailed for $150, which is ridiculous
