Help ID this cue, possibly a billiard cue?

Just pass on it. By the time you clean it up and put a tip on it you're already losing money. That's even if you get it for free.
 
Yup. Ramin wood shaft. Sorry but the cue is not worth anything, and unusable to play pool with.
 
I'm happy to buy cues like this all day long for anything under 20 bucks, preferably under 10.

Looks like a 70's Taiwan cue to me. No any real collectors value there, but some cue makers might like to have that forearm for a simple conversion cue.
 
It would be worth cleaning up imo. Might be nice for a youngster starting out in the game. Get rid of the shaft and pin tho
