Help ID this Schon and Case?

I was told this is an STL 3 from the 90's when I bought it. The joint appears to be an older Schon joint, so I'm really not 100% sure how old it is. I do have a second Schon shaft that has the standard Schon print above the joint, but the shaft pictured is the one I usually play with because it hits WAY better than the other.

As for the case, it's black leather with a tag and absolutely NO markings as far as branding anywhere on the case. It's a tube style case with a "genuine leather" tag on it.

Any help would be great.

Thanks JB. I wasn't thinking it was an instroke because of the fact that every instroke I had ever seen was badged with the instroke logo, and this one had no logo on it. It doesn't really feel like a "genuine leather" case, but it serves it's purpose quite well for what it is.

The cue itself, thanks sham for the link, it does appear to be an SL3, but I've been told, as mentioned above, that the joint doesn't really match up. The cue plays awesome, especially with the older shaft on it.

The pins origional...I have one in a different model from the 90's that
I bought from Schon

Thanks Triley, I guess that clears it up for me. 90's SL3 with a Chinese knock off instroke case. :)

What do those cases run brand new typically JB? Just curious so I know the general value.

I'm very happy with what I have. I paid $500 for the cue and case, with 2 shafts. So I think I did alright. I know the Schon plays awesome, and I'm happy with it. Can't wait to get my first custom, but that's all in time.

you are probably right John, if it doesn't have the logo on it. 500 seems like a great deal for the cue and case. I will most likely see you at the trade show John.
