Help identify maker of cue - possibly an Ariel Carmeli?

Can anyone identify the cue maker of the cue in the pictures that I have added?

I am not the owner of the cue, but the owner thinks that the cue may have been made by Ariel Carmeli, because of the ring work that looks very similar to the ring work that he used in some of the cues in the link below (#6, #32, and #31 have similar looking ring work).

If anyone does not think that the cue is a Carmeli, then any idea's on who made the cue?

There is no cue makers signature anywhere on the cue, but there is some unreadable writing (in gold letters?) under the rubber bumper.

Ill show this to Ariel tomorrow when I see him, I'm pretty sure it is not one of his, looks like a greg sirca cue, but im not 100%

The only resemblance those rings have to Ariel Carmeli, is they are the same basic geometric shape, but this isn't even close to his workmanship.
I don't know who made it, the butt sleeve and the rounded inlays make it look like a Dale Perry.
It looks like a $99 cue.

I hate to say it but even Dale's work looks better. Pretty shotty looking work.

The points are sharp (unlike Dales cues), but does that alone not make it any better then a Dale Perry? The white inlays also appear to be real ivory. I can see grain in the inlays. Would a $99 cue have ivory inlays?

Seriously the workmanship looks terrible, nothing looks clean, and personally I can't imagine spending ten cents on this cue.
I was being generous at $99.

Can't Imagine anybody thinking it was or even could have been.

For the $ 700 Price Tag Though....It's A Steal
