Help identify McDermott cues?

If its a real McD cue it would have their name on it. Look at the REAL one in that pic, see the shiny trim ring between the buttcap and sleeve?? Look at the op's cue: NO ring, no name, no clover bumper and a radial pin. Its not a real US made McD. If you wanna blow $$ on this thing knock yourself out

never seen one that didn't play great. have owned two and hit about a dozen. all played superb.

The few Uni Loc DP cues I had, hit amazing. The quality seemed far superior to me. The newer shaft that he came out with, that I think he may have advertised as Old Growth, hit not bad at all, I thought. But, his older cues, I really loved how they played.

Interesting and yes, seems to be correct (see Feb - M52A). Even more interesting is the weird clover, non-marked bumper and the fact that 2005 was the oldest year post on their website for cue of the month series (https://www.mcdermottcue.com/mcdermott_cue_of_the_month.php).

Yeah, and the Graphic designed cue in the pic is the M53B, from the same Cues of the Month year.
