Help Identify, Might Sell

the cue itself does not have the different color dashs in the rings..only the shaft...If it still is a palmer does this matter?
thanks you guys are awsome

The points in the pics seem to be closer to the joint than the palmer pics. Could it still be a palmer?

ill do 225 shipped if he is still interested..I played with it tonight and i kinda wanna keep it..If noone wants it tonight i will probably keep it and use it as my playing cue and get nitti to put a predator shaft on it...the first post gets first dibs, starting from the beginning offer on the thread for 210...

??????

I don't think it is any kind of old cue! No way it can be a Joss or even a Palmer of any age because the points aren't right.

I am with the Palmer PB6 crowd on this one. I also have one almost identical at home. Even the veneer colors are pretty close. The only difference is that this one's points are pretty close to the joint, but that doesn't change my opinion of what it is. Just my $0.02.

Hey guys, I have no info on this cue other than its a full splice and a 5/16x18 piloted joint..It belonged to an older guy about an hour ago...Might sell, Might Keep, its pretty light weight and i like that about it..
thanks

First 225 gets it..Includes shipping

What is the Butt length? Is it possible this was broken then repaired? Could explain why the points are so close to the joint & the cue being "light"

Paul Mottey is my guess, early 90's or late 80's.

I don't think so....not with a 5/16x18 pin. Mottey's of that era had the 5/16x14 pin and were usually signed.

I am going with it being a repair.. because i have new evidence.. I was close to a deal so i decided to go examine it some more and the joint may have been repaired when refinished because the points are real close and there is a slight taper that differs when you roll the butt alone..It didnt roll funny at first but with better lighting i can see where either the taper is off in one spot a little bit or the clear it thicker in one spot. both of these answers were given by a guy that helps a local cuemaker and he is very knowledgeable of cues and how to fix them. He actually does repairs...i Bumped the price down to 190 shipped because of this info and I am pending a decision of another person who i just gave this info to..The shaft is very very close to 12.7 also.....
thanks guys

price bump for 155 shipped. i have no idea whats going on with my playing cue so im letting this go..
