Southwhat?

I don't know that much about cues, but, I can say this is NOT a Southwest.

Right, I was looking for reference and looked at numerous southwest cues and did not see any with inlays like this although I did find some with the same banding or very similar banding.

That cue is not a Southwest, not by design, not by inlay work, not by bumper or anything else.

In my opinion the cue is an Asian import cue, hope you did pay very much for it.:(

Nah I did not pay much at all.. was listed for $130 at a pawnshop but got it for $9 no joke :)

Are Asian imports normally this nice?

If you it for $9 you did ok, I know the cue looks great and has a great deal in it. However, to the trained eye the qaulity of the inlay work, and the way the cue finished is not very good.

I will say though if the cue is straight there is nothing wrong with using it as a player. It may play great, you never know with import cues, they are very hit and miss.

GoodLuck.

Yeah, what Craig just said up there ^^^^. For $9 you did ok. Glad you did not pay a crazy price for the cue. If you like the way it plays, that is all that is important for you. Just don't expect a big return on your investment down the road.

Before i started playing with this cue i was using my old Meucci.. i honestly like the feel and play of this one more

Jim Baxter

Jim Baxter can set you up in a cue that will hit circles around what you have now and his prices are good. If this is something you might be interested in, let me know and I will find the link or you can do a search for "Jim Baxer" here on AZB.

Then I would put the Meucci away, I hope you understand I meant no disrespect with my comments, I was only trying to give you an accurate answer.

Have a great day.

none taken at all. just trying to end the mystery.. i could sell my meucci, mcdermott and mali and pick up something pretty decent

Well if you sound out your screen name...

frkkevin... that sounds about what the guy who sold it to you did. :p

Definately an import and not a good one at that.

looks a lot like the kc custom cue on his site

Partner it may be a KC Custom Cue, however, again there is nothing Custom about the KC Custom cues except that they are made in China on a production line by many many people.

The truth is no matter what it says on their site the cues are imports and nothing more.
