HELP!! Identify old BBC cue

I found this and need help identifying the model and year(s) it was built. It is 55 3/4" in length. In the BBC symbol with a magnifying glass you can faintly see some red in the circular ribbon area. Interesting piece of history.

there is a model 20- L-X and a 20-I , in the 2nd edition of bluebook.
however, both cues pictured are two piece cues
 
Chances are this is just an old house cue that was repaired with the shaft splice. If you look in old Brunswick catalogs (early 20th century) they offered this as a repair for something like fifteen cents per cue. JMHO.
