Need help identifying this cue, piloted 5/16x14 pin with piloted joint.flat edge butt cap with round bumper that is secured using a flathead screw into the weight bolt, plain linen black wrap. Looks like an old Mali, thinking its a production cue. Having problems loading more than one pic, thanks for help in advance.

Without even reading the description, just the overall

Appearance,

I would guess to Late 1990's Mali. '99' Series or 'M' Series

Majesty Series Cues, the Mali came off very easily compared to the earlier MALI silkscreened or whatever application technique was used.

Also, Bumper and Butt-Cap can be misleading if any damage was repaired.

Hope this helps,

Looks like a Mali from 10 feet away. But so would 10 other brands of a plain jane cue like that.

Really hard to say.

Are you sure it is a 14 pin?

agree

I agree it could be a number of cues from that picture, but to me it looks like a Ray Shuler
cue.
If we had a picture of the joint we would no for sure if it was one of Rays cues or not.

My first thought was a Schuler as well but need to see the pin.

Mali cue

Not sure if they have changed over the production runs. The Mali that had just come thru has a bumper with no hole and is only 3/4 in overall height.
I have had to make several bumpers for cues that with hard to find replacements , so now I'm always trying to take notes when I can.
My studies find different.
Hope this helps.

You picked up on the short joint collar.

I honestly don't want to guess on this one. But the short joint collar, plus the 14 pin, and the overall look....you could be right.

Nice.

The OPs cue definitely does not have a Mali bumper.
