Help identifying joint

I need help identifying the joint on my Tiger x Pro shaft. Here it is compared to my Predator shaft. The 314 is around 1 1/4 " deep and the Tiger is about 7/8" deep.

Thanks!

The brass is very unusual for a Tiger pilot on a Pro X.

Of Tiger's stock piloted shafts, the only one two I know of are 5/16X14 and 5/16X18, The 14 typical of Joss and Schon, the 18 would be Adam for example. On these, the pilot is made from phenolic, not brass. More than likely, it's one of these and I'm guessing 5/16 X 14 looking at the thickness of the thread.

In any case, nobody can tell what joint it is by looking at the insert. You could take it to the hardware store to see what sort of bolts fit it, or if you have a Schon or Joss around, if it fits these it will confirm it.

Well, since the insert only has a few threads and is less deep then the 314-2 it is most likely:

- Bullet Joint (Poison)
- Ghost Joint (Poison)

If you just gave me that one shaft to look at I would have guessed Uni-Loc though.

Oops - I forgot about these newer styles - he's probably right.

Anyone have any idea what kind of joint this is on a Kaiser K400 series? sorry about the blurry pic, tried to get a close up.:sorry:

It does look like a bullet uniloc, too bad I don't have anything that fits it. I would like to drill it out, but the bullet is wider and it would probably be an unstable joint. :frown:

Only thing is that if you go to the Tiger products website, they don't list the proX shaft with a bullet joint. Wonder if they custom made it for someone?

Looks like a bullet joint to me too... Looks pretty much like my Venom shaft's joint, but not 100% sure.
