Help me find a cheap fix

Last night while playing a tournament I bumped the butt of my playing cue that has a Brownish/Gold Finalic (I am sure this is spelled wrong) Butt Cap.

A small piece of the Finalic (I am sure this is spelled wrong) Butt Cap splinter off, and it was recovered by me.

But the Butt Cap look awful, I would like to repair it if possible, and get rid of the spot with missing Finalic material.

Suggestion that do not include replacing the Butt Cap would be appreciated as it is only a $300.00 SP.

Did you whack your cue after missing?
There are two kinds of brown/tan phenolic.
One is darker than the other.
You can't glue in a piece.
You can get it replaced. It might cost $50 if your cue is not spray-finished.

ive never seen phenolic do that.

leave it alone...

replacing the problem is the best fix.

any other fix prob will look just as bad as anything else you do to it. like glue it back in

You can always leave it alone. Its not hurting anything and you said yourself, its a $300 SP.

You can try to glue the piece back in but you will always see the glue lines around it. It is the cheapest and easiest fix though.

I'd replace it, myself. I charge $30.
